It’s a few gens old now. But my ryzen 9 5950x blew the doors off anything (consumer desktop) intel by an exponential difference

This generation will be even worse, the 9800X3D is shaping up to be utterly dominant and Intel hasn't been relevant in HEDT in what feels forever now.
